The short version: we collect nothing

Privacy Policy

Sampangi does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The people and settings you enter stay on your iPhone (and, if you've turned it on, your own private iCloud). There are no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no accounts, and no servers run by us.

What Sampangi stores

Sampangi stores the information you choose to put in: the people you add, their birthdays, the places you pick, and your app settings. This data is held only on your device. If you have iCloud enabled for Sampangi, that data may also sync through your own private iCloud account so it's available on your other devices. We never see it.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not operate any servers, accounts, or back-end. We have no way to see your data, and we don't want it. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-tracking that identifies you, and no third-party data sharing.

Network use

Sampangi works offline. The only network activity comes from Apple's own services on your behalf:

  • The App Store & StoreKit, to complete and restore your one-time purchase. This is handled entirely by Apple, and we don't receive your payment details.
  • Geocoding & maps, when you pick a place (because local sunrise determines the Telugu date), Sampangi may use Apple's on-device and map services to turn that place into coordinates. Your choices are not sent to us.

Children's privacy

Sampangi does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts and nothing is transmitted to us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Because Sampangi collects nothing, we don't expect material changes.
